Does your stress tango with your worry in what seems like a 24 hour danceathon? Is there a ton swirling in your mind that never stops except for a brief rest to weigh down your shoulders? Ruminating thoughts. Anxiety. Worry. Feeling pulled in all directions. You’re told you need to relax, need to learn how to manage your anxiety; just BREATHE! Well, don’t you breathe every day and every second? Whether it’s everyday worry or situational anxiety, the effects are exhausting you and hurting you. The PAUSE AND RENEW retreat is your treat to yourself where you can relax with the backdrop of soft sand, echos of the ocean and the smell of salty air. You will learn the basics of mindfulness based stress reduction including informal and formal meditating, watching your thoughts, learning self compassion, learning to let go, and connecting the dots between between your thoughts, emotions, feelings, and breath. You can’t just think it away. You can’t just breathe it away. Being mindful is an inclusive practice honoring and connecting the physical, mental, and emotional. You will LOVE this weekend that brings peaceful renewal and relaxation to you heart, mind, and body.
